The SEO development of Juice Digital Agency’s own website from late May to September 2026. Our objective is to increase visibility in Latvia and reach businesses searching for marketing, SEO and Google Ads services. This case study documents the starting point, the work and results for specific search queries.
Starting point and objective
The current website project was created on 28 May 2026. The connected Google Search Console property has available history from 30 May. Website development and SEO were discussed earlier, but comparable figures for the previous website from February–29 May are unavailable in this property. Therefore, 30 May marks the start of the verified measurement history, not a claim about when all SEO work began.
We compare the first and last 28 available days: 30 May–26 June and 1–28 September. Both periods cover Latvia, Google Web search, all devices and all site languages. The objective is to establish visibility among the top three results for commercial queries and then work towards first place.
Results over equal periods
| Metric | 30 May–26 Jun | 1–28 Sep |
|---|---|---|
| Clicks | 75 | 184 |
| Impressions | 12,689 | 20,722 |
| CTR | 0.59% | 0.89% |
| Average position | 20.97 | 12.68 |
Clicks increased by 145.3% and impressions by 63.3%. Average position improved by 8.29 places. These are whole-site organic search results for Latvia, including both branded and other queries. A separate comparison of 4–31 August with 1–28 September shows clicks increasing from 115 to 184, or 60%.
Daily trend: 122 days, 30 May–28 Sep 2026
These charts are redrawn from daily Google Search Console API data; they are not screenshots. Filter: Latvia, Google Web search, all devices and site languages.
The axis is inverted: a lower position number is better, so an upward line means improvement.
The 7-day trend is a trailing window of the current and six previous days: clicks and impressions use sum / 7; average position uses the impression-weighted mean. The first six days have no full window, so the trend line starts on 5 June.
By month (periods of unequal length)
| Period | Days | Clicks | Impressions | CTR | Avg. position |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 30–31 May | 2 | 2 | 374 | 0.53% | 22.58 |
| June | 30 | 83 | 14,816 | 0.56% | 21.27 |
| July | 31 | 88 | 16,665 | 0.53% | 24.86 |
| August | 31 | 126 | 19,436 | 0.65% | 18.98 |
| 1–28 Sep | 28 | 184 | 20,722 | 0.89% | 12.68 |
May has only 2 days and September 28 days up to the latest settled day, so this table is not an equal-month comparison; the equal-period comparison is shown above.

How visibility developed
The site received 83 clicks from Latvia in June, 88 in July and 126 in August. The first 28 days of September brought 184 clicks. Overall average position worsened in July compared with June, then improved in August and September. Growth was uneven.
Work on the website
- Built dedicated SEO and Google/Meta advertising service pages, with Latvian, Russian and English versions. Each page explains the service and the next step for a prospective client.
- Revised the SEO service copy. The change history records heading, introduction and process edits on 2 June; the process was expanded to six stages that day, from audit and keyword research to monitoring.
- Connected services, articles and published projects with internal links. Readers can move from a practical explanation to the relevant service and an example of the work.
- Developed a group of SEO articles covering audits, keyword research, costs and measurement. Informational articles and commercial pages are assessed separately.
- Use a shared page SEO system with canonical tags, hreflang, structured data and server-rendered content. Indexing is checked separately from ranking and click trends.
These are documented website changes and elements of its current structure. Search Console alone cannot establish the individual effect of each edit. This observation cannot precisely separate the effects of content, demand, competitors and Google changes on each metric.
Nine commercial queries: baseline and current results
Queries use their exact GSC wording. Positions are compared over the same two 28-day periods. September impressions and clicks are included so that ranking progress can be assessed alongside actual visits.
| Query | Position 30 May–26 Jun | Position 1–28 Sep | Impressions 1–28 Sep | Clicks 1–28 Sep |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| mārketinga aģentūra | 13.63 | 4.56 | 532 | 6 |
| digitālā mārketinga aģentūra | 15.83 | 8.12 | 713 | 1 |
| digitālās reklāmas aģentūra | 7.25 | 3.51 | 148 | 2 |
| reklāmas aģentūra | 31.33 | 5.97 | 479 | 4 |
| seo pakalpojumi | 55.82 | 9.59 | 795 | 3 |
| seo aģentūra | 24.49 | 7.86 | 505 | 3 |
| google reklāmas aģentūra | 15.19 | 6.61 | 214 | 0 |
| google ads pakalpojumi | 24.82 | 8.69 | 178 | 0 |
| google ads aģentūra | 13.64 | 6.00 | 20 | 1 |
“seo pakalpojumi” improved from 55.82 to 9.59, while “mārketinga aģentūra” moved from 13.63 to 4.56. However, “google reklāmas aģentūra” and “google ads pakalpojumi” produced no clicks in the September period. Better average position does not yet mean sufficient commercial traffic. “google ads aģentūra” had only 20 impressions, so that result should not be overstated.
Where further growth is needed
During 1–28 September, the www SEO service pages across three languages received 7 clicks from 4,996 impressions; the advertising service pages received 1 click from 2,146 impressions. These are separate Latvia page-family figures, not sums from the query table. The next task is to turn commercial visibility into qualified enquiries.
Across the last two complete weeks, 15–21 and 22–28 September, clicks fell from 54 to 39 and impressions from 5,337 to 3,297; average position changed from 10.55 to 12.24. No single cause has been established. Progress over the full period does not remove the need to examine short-term trends.
Data, calculations and limits
Source: Google Search Console API, property sc-domain:juicelatvia.lv; retrieved on 1 October 2026. The period ends on 28 September, the latest available settled day. GSC dates in this extraction use America/Los_Angeles. CTR is clicks divided by impressions × 100; average position is weighted by impressions.
GSC average position is not a fixed placement in every Google search. Query slices omit anonymised data and may not sum to whole-site totals. Clicks are not enquiries or revenue. First place and a stable top-three position across these nine queries have not yet been achieved. New edits on 30 September and 1 October cannot have caused the earlier results shown here.
