About the Client

Veselības centrs 4 is one of Latvia's largest private healthcare networks, bringing together more than 30 medical specialties within a single ecosystem. Its services range from primary care and diagnostics to rehabilitation, aesthetic medicine and the Anti-Aging Institute.


The Challenge

A Website That No Longer Served Patients

The previous VC4 website struggled to meet modern user expectations. It wasn't fully optimised for mobile devices, while its navigation made it difficult for patients to find the right doctor or medical service. As a result, visitors left the website before completing an appointment.

Understanding User Behaviour

Rather than starting with visual design, we began with research. By analysing user behaviour, we identified where visitors became confused, which pages they ignored and at which stage they abandoned the booking journey.

Designing the Right Solution

After exploring multiple design directions, we created a clear and intuitive experience where every step—from choosing a specialty to booking an appointment—became faster, simpler and more predictable.

The Redesign

The new homepage became a clear starting point, helping patients quickly find the right doctor, medical service or online booking in just a few seconds.

108 Specialists. One Intuitive Search Experience.

The doctors directory was one of the most complex parts of the project. We redesigned it with smart filters by clinic, specialty and alphabetical search, allowing patients to find the right specialist and book an appointment in just a few clicks.

Online Booking

Booking an Appointment Without Calls or Unnecessary Steps

One of the project's primary goals was to reduce the distance between "I need a doctor" and "Appointment confirmed." The redesigned booking experience allows patients to quickly find the nearest available appointment by filtering results by city, specialty or medical service.

The Result

From an Information Resource to a Patient Acquisition Platform

Following the launch of the redesigned website, VC4 saw a significant increase in organic traffic alongside steady growth in online appointment bookings. Clear navigation, improved information architecture and a more intuitive user journey removed the biggest barriers between patients and healthcare services. The website evolved from a source of information into an effective patient acquisition platform.
